من قال لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شئ قدير ، في يوم مئة مرة كانت له عدل عشر رقاب ، وكتبت له مئة حسنة ، ومحيت عنه مئة سيئة , وكانت له حرزاً من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي ولم يأت أحد بأفضل مما جاء به الا رجل عمل أكثر منه ".
وعنْ أبي مُوسَى الأشعريِّ ، رضي اللَّه عنهُ ، عن النبي صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم ، قال : «مَثَلُ الذي يَذكُرُ ربَّهُ وَالذي لا يذكُرُهُ ، مَثَل الحيِّ والمَيِّتِ » رواهُ البخاري .
وعنْ جابرٍ رضي اللَّه عنهُ ، عَنِ النبي صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قال : « منْ قال : سُبْحانَ اللَّهِ وبحَمدِهِ ، غُرِستْ لهُ نَخْلَةٌ في الجَنَّةِ » . رواه الترمذي
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : (أقرب ما يكون الرب من العبد في جوف الليل الأخر فإن استطعت إن تكون ممن يذكر الله في تلك الساعة فكن ".
